Salil Ankola and wife Ria to be part of Power Couple!

 

Since its announcement, Power Couple has created a lot of buzz with regards to its host and contestants. After confirming Pratyusha and her beau Rahul, the next couple to be part of the show is none other cricketer-turned-actor Salil Ankola. The good looking all-rounder is back on television after a hiatus of two years and is all set to give other couples a tough competition on the popular reality show. This is the first time Salil will be seen with his wife Ria Banerjee together on a reality show.

 

Confirming the same, Salil said, "I am excited to be part of the show. Power Couple is about the understanding and love between couples. I am taking it up mainly because of my wife Ria as she is the reason I got back to life again." Speaking about making a comeback the actor shared "I had put on weight and wanted to be fit again. I utilized the break to get back to my roots, cricket, and focus on my fitness. I am based in Chandigarh now as my wife is practicing medicine here. She has invested eight years to become a doctor and that's the least I could do for her. That shows the amount of respect and love we have for each other. I did miss the arclights, but everything materializes when the time is right,"

 

The Indian version of the hit Israeli show will see 10 of the biggest celebrity couples being part of it. They will live under one roof who will be tested as they face extreme challenges to prove how well they know each other.
