Zindagi actresses salute the spirit of Womanhood


Zindagi, India’s only premium Hindi Entertainment channel, has always showcased strong woman characters with beautiful stories and brilliant acting. On the occasion of International Woman’s Day, reputed Zindagi actresses give out their wishes to women across India.

“ I one wish is for every girl child to be educated”, wishes SaminaPeerzada - veteran actress seen in cult favourite Zindagi shows like Dhoop Chaaon, Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Noorpur ki Rani. She adds, “The message that comes across from what Zindagi is showing is that economic empowerment is the only way forward for the women of the world”.


Mehreen Raheal, known for her roles in Mastani Mahi, Zindagi Gulzar Hai and Kaisi Yeh Qayamat wishes that all women “believe” that they are beautiful, magical, witty and sensitive. “They have power to alter our future by educating their young and encouraging positivity!
