ZCorum, a leading provider of managed broadband services, will showcase its portfolio of broadband diagnostics solutions for cable operators gathered in Beijing for the China Content Broadcasting Network (CCBN) event. The fair and exhibition is a 3 day event that will be held March 23-25 at the China International Exhibition Center (CIEC). CCBN is the largest broadcasting technology and equipment expo in the Asia Pacific region. ZCorum will be presenting their software to guests who visit a reserved suite at the Radisson Blu hotel adjacent to the conference center.
ZCorum will be demonstrating a range of diagnostic tools, with live demonstrations of TruVizion , ZCorum’s patented diagnostics software used by Cable and FTTH broadband providers worldwide. Arthur Skinner, ZCorum’s Vice President of Worldwide Sales, will be highlighting recent enhancements that allow operators to better manage a subscriber’s in-home Wi-Fi experience. “Wi-Fi support continues to be a challenge for operators, so we added WiFi management features that provide insight into the home network and reduce troubleshooting time,” said Skinner.
ZCorum will also be demonstrating two other tools that make use of relatively new capabilities in DOCSIS. Upstream Analyzer is a software-based application for remote upstream spectrum analysis that displays live return-path spectrum directly from the CMTS. PreEqualization Analyzer is a Proactive Network Maintenance (PNM) tool that analyzes pre-equalization data, showing operators where the upstream impairments are in their cable plant so they can fix the problem before subscriber services are affected.
Visitors will also see what ZCorum has to offer to help troubleshoot downstream spectrum issues remotely, including their Remote Spectrum product, and a new tool called SpectraVizion , which provides proactive alerts on devices experiencing common downstream issues like Standing Waves, FM Noise, Suck-outs, Roll-off and Tilt.
