Rajan Shahi Director of Zee Tv s popular show expressed his affection towards show
Rajan Shahi , the director of zee tv show Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya is touted to be television’s Barjatiya and Karan Johar who has shot the sequence in its true blue Marwari extravaganza.
Rajan Shahi made his directorial debut with series, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi, he went on to direct hit series including Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi, Hamare Tumhare, Rishtey, Kareena Kareena, Reth, Mamtaa, Millee, Virasaat and Saathi Re. Thereafter he got to work as a series director for Ghar Ki Laxmi Betiyaan and Maayaka. Eventually, he became a television producer and started his own production company in 2007. His first series as producer was Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai on Star Plus, followed by Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. His current show on Zee TV Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya is gaining popularity ever since the first episode.
He was recently approached by us to ascertain his way of working for TV shows and more, where he spoke as under:
“Many people ask me as to why I prefer to put titles of my shows on famous Hindi songs? My reply to such quarries is always same that as popular songs make listeners joyous, any TV show or film with popular title attracts audience to view the creations. My experiment has been successful till now, and I am sure the same will click in future also.”
When asked as to why he chose Rajasthani culture for “Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya”, he told’” I am really impressed. The culture of Rajasthan particularly in Marwar belt is something like a special treat. People of Marwar, their culture and belief in traditions and respect for elders have attracted me to select a plot based in Jaipur. And results are fantastic. My fans gave me tremendous response to my imaginations for which I am thankful to them”
“Before you ask me about any film I am doing, I say “No’ I am concentrating upon Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya and other under production TV shows. I cannot say about future planning, but I am fully satisfied with what I have done and doing” added Rajan Shahi and concluded conversation.
