Via Veneto Hosts Antinori Family Dinner and Wine Sampling

Via Veneto, an intimate Italian restaurant nestled in the heart of Santa Monica is thrilled to announce a hosted dinner and wine sampling held by the renowned Antinori family of Italian winemakers along with a list of honored Via Veneto guests and enthusiasts.

The Via Veneto team has hosted a number of culinary events and wine focused pre-fixe menus but the Antinori Family dinner will be one of the most exclusive in the restaurant’s history. The celebrated Antinori family of fine Italian winemakers will co-host the dinner and wine sampling on June 17, 2014, featuring many of the family's most famous vintages alongside the culinary masterpieces that have made Via Veneto a prominent name in Italian cuisine in Southern California.

The Antinori family is hosting the event in honor of its remarkable 26 generations of fine wine makers. The family has been a fixture in the wine making industry for more than 600 years, tracing their roots to the vineyards of Umbria and Tuscany. These legendary vineyards have produced some of the finest wines in the world and the Antinori family wants to celebrate their accomplishments by pairing these wines with fine cuisine brought to life in the Via Veneto kitchen.

On June 17, 2014, at 7:00 p.m., privileged guests will be invited to the restaurant's Santa Monica location at 3009 Main Street. There, they will be given the opportunity to experience the taste of several pre-selected wines complimented by a variety of inspired dishes, including hors d'oeuvres and four main courses sure to please the palate.
