(Free Press Release) The 'Must Have' patio doors are now available to order direct from SunSeeker Doors' website. SunSeeker UltraSlim double glazed doors have aluminium frames that measure only 19mm each side of the glass and will be finished in the customer's choice of RAL colour.
SunSeeker Doors' Ultra Slim doors use new technology - the aluminium frames have no hinges because they do not fold in concertina-line fashion like SunSeeker's slimline bifolds, which have a frame width of around 70mm (PVC frames are usually wider) in order for hinges to be accommodated.
A decade ago, bi folding doors combined the best of fixed pane sliding glass doors with French doors. Increasingly popular today, bifolds enable full access through the door aperture, like French doors, but for much greater widths. The frames around the glass of each bifolding door are available in a range of materials - timber, aluminium, pvc or a combination of these.
SunSeeker has taken door technology further than the bi-fold. Innovative new Ultra Slim doors are comprised of a number of individual doors that travel individually along guides and pivot to stack at right-angles, maximising the access space between two areas. The frames, although narrow, will accommodate integral blinds, if clients would like them included.

UltraSlim patio doors work with a slide and turn (or slide and pivot) action. The primary door is used as a regular, opening door, then enabling other doors to slide along the top and bottom guides. Position them wherever you wish or slide the doors to the end of the aperture where each door will pivot 90 degrees to stack against the previously opened door. In this way, virtually the whole of the opening is cleared for access.
