The origin of this heartfelt journey began after the devastation of Hurricane Matthew. This natural disaster destroyed South Haiti leaving over 500 plus dead.  Gynesis Losa Buissereth residing in Atlanta, Georgia made a critical decision to step in, and do something that would positively impact her homeland. Tired of seeing the people of  Haiti suffer Gynesis sprang into action. She decided to take on the cause to save Haiti herself, despite the advice of others to donate and join other nonprofit organization. After tragedy of the earthquake that struck Haiti years before, and with all the money donated with no improvement in the conditions Gynesis wanted to be hands on in the mission. She stated “If I am going to give back, I want to receive the items for Haiti and distribute them myself to the people of Haiti.  Gynesis began to reach out to people by phone, social media, and going to several businesses to request aid in the mission for Haiti. Her friends and family have extended their support themselves to part take in this great mission ranging from Miami, Port Charlotte and Atlanta.

The mission took a lot of sacrificing without the aid of sponsorship; Gynesis has attended several events across Atlanta where people have dropped off water, medical supplies, food, clothes and monetary donations.  The Haiti Mission alliance came up with a creative way to raise money by having a huge event called “Haircuts for Haiti”  in Atlanta, GA. The event will be held at located 66 Upper Alabama SW Atlanta, GA. Professional and Celebrity barbers and stylists will have their clients come out and receive services to fund the mission trip to Haiti. Representing this magnificent event and cause will be Atlanta’s own Jada Kemp known to everyone as MSPRDiva and Nyla Vamp. Jimmie Gilmore III Celebrity Barber will be the host for this cause worthy event, and is also its producer. Joining Gynesis on the Mission Trip to Haiti will be
Jada Kemp (MsPRDiva), Nyla Vamp, Angella Watson, Rose Phillip, Davashay Page-Melton, Twala Meju, Vivienne Mitchell and Ray Baussant, they will be personally handing out donations to the people of South Haiti, providing medical services, meals as well as hair services.

Rosemie and Ray Baussant of Port Charlotte Florida, Sherry in Miami Florida, and Gynesis Losa from Atlanta, GA in combination the collection totaled 40 barrels of donations from each of their cities.
