Mike Mullaney, The Granite Group’s Vice President of Marketing, is the 2013 recipient of the Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Contractors of Massachusetts (PHCC of MA) prestigious Robert J. Sinnott Public Affairs Award. This award, presented at the PHCC of MA 2013 Annual Meeting, was established in 1983 to honor its first recipient, who served as editor of the PHCC of MA’s New England Progress Magazine for 25 years.
Its purpose is to recognize individuals who are not Contractor members of the PHCC of MA, but who have made outstanding and significant contributions to the association or to the industry.
Mullaney has found many ways to support PHCC of MA and the communities it serves. He has been an active and important member of its trade show committee, providing valuable input from the perspective of an exhibitor, while also serving as the only Associate member on the Editorial Board of the New England Progress Magazine. His candid and insightful review of pre-print copy over the years has been most appreciated by the PHCC of MA’s leadership team.
