Ltd. which brought you iconic shows like Raja Chhatrapati Shivaji, Agnihotra & Mann Udhan Varyanche is now pleased to present its newest show - Swapnanchya Palikadle. The show reflects the post marriage story of a young girl from a wealthy family - Vaidehi - who against her parent‘s advice marries into the middle class family of Shreyas her true love. Premiering on August 16 at 8pm from Monday to Saturday Swapnanchya Palikadle will take viewers through the journey that Vaidehi faces as she comes to grips with the reality of middle class life that she had been sheltered from till now.
At 8pm Swapnanchya Palikadle replaces the popular show “Antarpaatâ€, which will now be telecast at 9.30pm from August 16, 2010. This unique & fresh series of Swapnanchya Palikadle promises to engage and entertain all audiences alike. Swapnanchya Palikadle revolves around Vaidehi Sabnis (Gauri Nalawade), a vibrant young Maharashtrian mulgi who is born and brought up like a princess in a swanky bungalow and falls in love with a Maharashtrian middle class boy Shreyas Patkar (Chinmay Udgirkar).Shreyas is a highly ambitious boy with a zest to pursue his dreams but success always seems to elude him. However, in spite of Shreyas‘s shortcomings & a vast difference between their two worlds, Vaidehi steps into her new home against her parent‘s advice with a belief that love can overcome any hardship & that one day she & Shreyas will have the life they dream of.
And from here commences her journey to adjust in a drastically new physical and emotional space and prove herself to be the ideal daughter-in-law & wife. Ups and downs become a part of her life and overcoming them becomes her biggest challenge.
Watch Vaidehi‘s journey from a swanky bungalow to a typical middle class Maharashtrian household, from designer sandals to ordinary footwear, from luxury cars to BEST bus travel, from shopping at malls to haggling at grocery shops for every rupee and from hope …to reality.
This series stars the popular & talented Usha Naik who essay‘s the character of Shreyas‘ proud, sharp & straight forward Aaji. (Grand Mother). The well known Ashok Shinde is playing Shreyas‘ loving father.
The other cast of the show includes well established actors - Bharti Patil, Vinayak Bhave, Madhavi Nimkar, Aarti More, Shekhar Navre, Madhavi Gogate, Vikram Gaikwad and Chitrali Gupte.
This fresh & eye catching series is being produced by Reliance Big Productions & directed by Vinod Lavekar.
