Star Wars: Rise of the Dark Side, Another Win for the Internet!

HOUSTON (March 27, 2015)  — Veteran line producer, Omar Baker, has rallied together an ensemble crew to enter pre-production with their highly anticipated Indiegogo campaign launch. Star Wars fans everywhere can now become a part of the “most innovative fan film in science fiction history!”

#StarWarsROTDS is a nonprofit, fan film intended to be released as a web series. Shot with the RED camera series, this massive project will be amongst the first to utilize the 4k format correctly while featuring an array of awesome replica props, costumes and set pieces.

Solid action, no Banta Fodder. Celebrity cameos included.

Seth has worked on various television shows in Los Angeles including Resurrection, Heroes and The Mentalist. He is a seasoned writer and can helm the director’s seat with ease. Omar is a remarkable Line Producer from Houston, and this will be his debut short film. The other team members include their former peers from the University of Texas at Austin and The University of Houston. Strong with the force, they are.
