India is estimated to have almost one million people diagnosed with incurable diseases every year. However, when children as young as a year old contract diseases that either have no known cure or their condition is deteriorated to such an extent that no medication seem to work, the possibility of a life ending before it barely begun seems more evident. In such situations where parents lose hope and spirit, children come out to be the bravest of them all. Although they know that they are nearing an end, they chose hope over stress and are determined to make their last few moments the most memorable ones. Children under palliative care, deal with pain almost every single day but strive through it all. Although, death is perpetually knocking at their door, they want to spend the rest of the day with a smile on their faces.
