Parle-G BIG Junior STAR concludes successfully in Bareilly
~ The Bareilly leg of the auditions for Parle-G BIG Junior Star saw hundreds of enthusiastic children participate~
Bareilly, December 13th 2013: In October, Reliance Broadcast Network’s National entertainment channels, BIG MAGIC and regional entertainment channel BIG MAGIC Bihar & Jharkhand in association with Parle-G and knowledge partners Mount Litera Zee school set out to find the most unique talent among kids in the state of Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh. BIG MAGIC and BIG MAGIC BIHAR & JHARKHAND are proud to announce that the Bareilly leg of the campaign has concluded successfully with hundreds of kids participating and showcasing their talent.
Parle-G and Mount Litera Zee School believe in letting children pursue their hobbies and passion for holistic development. Recognizing a synergy with BIG MAGIC and BIG MAGIC Bihar & Jharkhand, these prestigious brands were roped in as partners for the unique property: BIG Junior Star, designed to encourage children to showcase their talent without any caveats.
While children from about 15 schools in Bareilly were auditioned for Parle-G BIG Junior Star, participants across the city thronged the open booths to register and display the best they had.
The auditions of Parle-G BIG Junior Star were attended by hundreds of excited children and parents. The show witnessed talent from across fields like art, music, dance, drama, sports etc. Over 220 children showcased some of their best performances before renowned judges through the school auditions. Enthusiastic crowds cheered on 80 talented kids who tried out for the competitions through the open auditions held in the city.
Commenting on the success of the initiative, Mr. Sunil Kumaran, business head, BIG Magic said “Kids are immensely talented and we are happy to have presented a unique platform to give vent to their talent without any caveats. We thank our partners for their support and contribution.”

Overall the property is set to cover 390 schools across 13 towns in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar and Jharkhand. Parle-G BIG Junior Star auditions will be conducted in Agra, Varanasi and Jaunpur among others in Uttar Pradesh. In Bihar Jharkhand, auditions will be conducted in cities like Patna, Ranchi, Muzzafarpur among others. In every town, auditions will be conducted at 10 - 15 select schools coupled with a day of open auditions to reach out to a large audience base. As the town-specific auditions draw to a close, every town will crown its own Parle-G BIG Junior Star who will walk away with a cash prize of Rs.50,000. The show will be promoted extensively through print, radio, OOH, digital and social media platforms, and on-ground activations at various high footfall consumer touchpoints.
The show Parle-G BIG Junior Star will be aired from January, 2014 on BIG MAGIC and BIG MAGIC BIHAR JHARKHAND. The show will be a 40 episode series which will air each Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the prime-time slot
