Neha Sargam steps into Alia Bhatt’s shoes for the upcoming episode Yeh Hai Aashiqui

Such is the dangerous love story that bindass’ show Yeh Hai Aashiqui brings to its viewers this time around. This week’s story has a very striking resemblance to the story of the upcoming Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Highway’ as the upcoming episode will feature the story of a mind boggling relationship that Shruti, who will be played by popular actress Neha Sargam, has with Vikrant who has kidnapped her with the intention of forcing her into prostitution.
Neha, who is very well known for her role in the show Chand Chupa Badal Mein, will be playing a very intense character this time on Yeh Hai Aashiqui. While talking about her character who falls in love with her abductor itself, the versatile actress said, “I was extremely excited when Yeh Hai Aashiqui was offered to me. My first reaction after hearing the script was ‘I definitely want to play Shruthi.’ It has been a great experience shooting with a bunch new people .In my opinion Yeh Hai Aashiqui is one of the best shows that portrays unusual love stories so beautifully’’.
Apart from Neha Sargam, actors Mayank Gandhi and Kunal Thakkur will also be seen on the episode. They will be essaying the roles of Vikrant, the kidnapper, and ACP Siddharth, Shruti’s fiancé, respectively. The show will be hosted by the popular television actor Vikrant Massey, who will take the viewers through the story.
