MIHIKA VERMA QUITS YE HAI MOHABBATEIN
Mihika Verma, who plays the role of Mihika Iyer in STAR Plus’ popular show Ye Hai Mohabbatein, has decided to quit the show.
Sources close to the production said, "Mihika doesn't want to age on-screen. The show recently took a seven-year leap and while most of the important characters have stayed back, she decided to move on. She was clearly not happy with her characters progress in the show and has decided it’s time she put her foot down."
The highly rated show on STAR Plus has taken a sudden turn by incorporating the long seven year leap. Many characters have completely transformed their look due to this time lapse. If sources are to be believed, Mihika was not impressed with the turn of events her character was supposed to take.
The source further adds, “Disappointed by her character post the leap, Mihika has put in her papers and the makers have already started looking for her replacement. Mihika wants to focus on more subject-oriented roles.”
