Manini Mishra in Diya Aur Baati Hum
Manini Mishra, who is best remembered for her mean & unconventional characters in various television shows, is all set to play a strict, disciplinarian fitness & training coach in Star Plus’ Diya aur Baati Hum.
Putting an end to various speculations, the producer Sumeet Mittal says, “The role of Sandhya's training coach is very crucial in the show and Manini fits the part perfectly. She is a strong actress and she can carry off this part with ease.”
With Sandhya (essayed by Deepika Singh) going to leave home soon to undertake the IPS training, new set of characters are being introduced to step up the drama and build the track around her IPS journey. Manini's role will be on the lines of Prakash Raj’s in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Others who had been approached for the role before Manini got finalised were Mita Vashisth, Mandira Bedi and Vidya Malawde.
