Malaysia Airlines honors Travel Agents in Glittering Ceremony

New Delhi, Malaysia Airlines, the national carrier of Malaysia, has organized its Top Agents Awards Ceremony to thank the travel fraternity for the support extended to Malaysia Airlines in the year 2012 from the India market.

The official awards ceremony took place at Kuala Lumpur on 25 October 2013, Friday.

Honoring the presence of the top brass of Indian travel industry, Malaysia Airlines celebrated its partnershipwith these premier travel advisors for their ongoing support and role towards the consistent growthof travelservices across the nation.

This executive retreat was aimed at recognizing and thanking Indian trade partners for their loyalty and continued support to Malaysia Airlines while honoring them at a very exclusive evening for the opportunity of tradenetworking and future growth plans for the India market as well. The ceremony included both business and leisure activities to balance the itinerary.

He also added about the exciting milestones for Malaysia Airlines such as the recent association with oneworld® alliance and the inaugural operations from Kochi.

The event saw the who’s who of India travel industry and top agents from India grace the event. This ceremony not only further encouraged Malaysia Airlines’ trade partners to reinforce their support to the Indian market but also gave them an exclusive platform to interact with local suppliers and discuss about various tourism sub-products.

Malaysia Airline this year won the International passenger recognition by Skytrax as a 5-star airline, International travel trade recognition at the World Travel Awards as being Asia’s Leading Airline and the Malaysia’s people’s choice award by Putra Brand Award.

 

In 2013, Malaysia Airlines continued to receive 1 new B738 every month, in addition to new A333. With their fleet of A380s, Malaysia Airlines will soon, by end 2013, have one of the youngest fleets in Asia of an average age of 6 years.
