Sushi is becoming increasingly popular. Many sushi specialties are a natural fit for current healthy eating promotions. A greater number of sushi bars can be found in restaurant lists. Sushi can even be found in supermarket chains. However, those who have tried it will say nothing compares to the satisfaction they get from learning how to make sushi themselves and showing off their new skills to family, friends and guests. Chef Ryan of OfferSushi, a Malden, Massachusetts based catering service, teaches sushi making classes to anyone who wants to learn authentic Asian preparation methods so they can make delicious sushi at home. Information about Chef Ryan’s sushi classes can be found at www.offersushi.com
Chef Ryan will teach groups of 10 or more people how to make world-class sushi in their own homes. The cost is $50 per person for a two-hour sushi class. He arrives with the ingredients and equipment and works with the client and other sushi students in the client’s kitchen. Naturally, the students get to test the results.
In discussing his passion for teaching others the art of sushi, Chef Ryan says, “Making delicious sushi rolls is not just a job any more. This beautiful art of cooking has become an enjoyable passion…It is so much fun, especially at a party”.
The sushi classes can be scheduled throughout the state of Massachusetts in Boston, the Massachusetts North and South Shore and towns such as Andover, Brookline, Cohasset and Weston.
