Kishwar Merchant to romance Vishal Kotian on BIG MAGICs Akbar Birbal

Post a successful stint in theatre, the duo, Kishwar Merchant and Vishal Kotian will be seen together yet again on BIG MAGIC’s historical comedy - Akbar Birbal. While Vishal will be seen as the faithful and intelligent Birbal, Kishwar is roped in to play the part of Urvashi — a dancer who is head-over-heels in love with Birbal.
Slated to go on-air soon, this Meenakshi Sagar production is a hilarious sitcom on the popular stories of Akbar and Birbal. With Kiku Sharda essaying the role of Badshah Akhbar and Delnaz Irani as Begum Sahiba, this comic caper is sure to win many hearts.
Says Vishal Kotian, “Comedy has always been my forte and I’m glad to be back in this genre with BIG MAGIC’s Akbhar-Birbal. From what I’ve read of the script; the show promises to be wittier, more light-hearted and in line with the channel’s notion of only smiles.
