Born on October 15, 1947 to a poor 'Maali' family in Nashik, Bhujbal lost his parents early on in life. Being a member of the Maali community, his early years were surrounded by farmers and fruit and vegetable growers in Nashik. From there, he has grown by leaps and bounds, holding important positions in the politics of Maharashtra. In 2008, he was sworn in as the Minister of Public Works Department. In 2010 he was also given the additional responsibility of tourism of the state. As his role in these positions, the common man would have various questions pertaining to the public works and tourism in Maharashtra.
