Celebrating the occasion of International Women’s Day, IBN-Lokmat presents the second edition of Mukta Sanman Awards 2014 that recognize and felicitate commendable women from all walks of life. They truly in every way celebrate the excellence and dedication shown by thesewomen who in spite of many barriers and hurdles have contributed tremendously to their fields and achieved success.
The awards comprise of many categories like Government officials, Social & Education Initiative, Entrepreneurs, Sports and Adventure, Art & theatre, off bit courage, Sasu-Sun Sanman, Gender Sensitive Man, Organisation & Mukta Sanman Jeevan gaurav.
Today, our nation is witnessing many women realising their rights and waking up to lead and make a difference in many fields. Vouching for Gender Equality and playing multiple roles are women from all parts of India. It is therefore essential to empower these women and congratulate them on their journey to achieving their dreams. Through these awards, their contributions to society are appreciated and recognized.
Eminent IPS officer and a role model to millions of women, Kiran Bedi and Atul Kulkarni, famous actor, will be the chief guests and grace the occasion along with several other dignitaries.This Glorious Award ceremony will also have a special performance by Gangubai Jadhav and Laxmibai Giram. The popular all woman’s band Indiva will also entertain viewers. The Mukta Sanman awards will be held at Ravidra Natya Mandir on the 4thof march at 6 pm. Entry by invitation only.
