Jaipur, August 20, 2013: HolidayIQ.com, a holiday review website powered by India’s first and largest traveller community has released its latest and exclusive travel Intelligence report for Jaipur. Titled “HolidayIQ.com Insights Destination Report: Jaipur”,the report is a special analysis of the latest trends seen between January-June 2013 and January-June 2012. The study is based on the on-site actions of 50 Lakh unique Indian visitors who plan their holidays on HolidayIQ.com every month.
The report reveals that in the last one year, the budget per person per night of travellers from Jaipur has increased by 39% to Rs. 2237. However the size of the travelling group has reduced to 4.12 persons per group from 4.78 persons per group last year. The report also mentions that the couple travellers constitute 41.2% of travellers from Jaipur, this share was just 26.5% last year. They also have higher budget per person per night (Rs. 2558). On the other hand single travellers who constitute just 4.2% have the lowest budgets per person per night (Rs. 1762). However they are the quickest in planning a holiday (18 days).
Apart from this, the report highlights that travellers from Jaipur have 17% higher budget per person per night than travellers from rest of India (Rs. 1915) and also they plan longer holidays than rest of India. According to this report, 85% of travellers from Jaipur are travelling outside Rajasthan and 65% are travelling within Southern India.
