Hemorrhoid Types

Fourth-degree hemorrhoids are those where there is a protrusion of the hemorrhoids from within the anus. Fourth-degree hemorrhoids are not able to be physically transferred back into the internal area.

External hemorrhoids are the second type of hemorrhoids. They are visible out side the anus. They are basically skin-covered veins that have ballooned and appear blue. Usually they appear without any symptoms. When inflamed, however, they become red and tender.
