Isle of Wight, UK — Fresh Publishing has announced a change in their offerings beginning in June 2014. The focus of the business will switch from book publishing to providing publishing services to authors, publishers, and businesses.
The UK-based business will still offer the same range of services. This includes book development, ghostwriting, editing, proofreading, formatting, graphic and cover design, marketing consultation and implementation, online platform development, and other services. However, traditional book publishing will no longer be offered in most occasions and greater focus will be given to developing and marketing books.
“We have taken a step back from publishing quite simply because we find we prefer to support independent authors and publishers rather than take the lime light away from them,” Astrid Gay, owner of Fresh Publishing, says. “They do most of the creative work and I feel they deserve the recognition. While technically speaking we’ll offer the same services, we will simply not publish under Fresh Publishing with a few very specific exceptions.”
Fresh Publishing has decided to make a few specific services available on Fiverr . Offerings there include press release writing and 3d book cover creation and are offer at a special discounted price. The more complex services can be ordered directly from the Fresh Publishing website.
