PUNE, March 22, 2010 … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation participated in the recent summit “A New Management Paradigm for a New World” organized by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Conscious Capitalism Institute (CCI) to highlight the idea that profit and prosperity can and must go hand in hand with social justice and environmental stewardship.

Craig Arnold, vice chairman and chief operating officer for Eaton‘s Industrial Sector was one of the key plenary speakers at last week‘s summit in Mumbai and spoke on the topic “Sustainable Leadership: Taking the Long Term Perspective.”

He reviewed the company‘s India initiatives and spoke on Eaton‘s efforts to spread HIV AIDS awareness among the truck driver community. The company has been working with the NGO Sahara Alhad to spread awareness among the truck driver community in Maharashtra.

The conference featured a “Who's Who” of CEOs and leaders from the US and India in an innovative, highly interactive small conference format. Kapil Sibal, Hon‘ble Minister for Human Resource Development, Government of India delivered the keynote address.
