COCA-COLA APPOINTS SARVITA SETHI AS VICE PRESIDENT-FINANCE, INDIA AND SOUTH WEST ASIA

She succeeds Sanjeev Kumar, who becomes Director Finance, Coca-Cola West Africa

Gurgaon, July 2016: Coca-Cola today announced the appointment of Sarvita Sethi as Vice President - Finance, for India and South West Asia. She takes over from Sanjeev Kumar, who now takes on the role of Director Finance, Coca-Cola West Africa. Sarvita will report to Venkatesh Kini, President, Coca-Cola India and South West Asia. The India and South West Asia Business Unit of The Coca-Cola Company includes Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Maldives besides India.

 

Sanjeev Kumar, a 20 year veteran of The Coca-Cola Company and a part of the team that reintroduced Coca-Cola in India in 1993, will now head the Finance Operations for 31 countries in the Coca-Cola West Africa Business Unit. He will report to Peter Njonjo, President, Coca-Cola West Africa Business Unit.

Sarvita will relocate from Athens to bebased out of Gurgaon, for her new role. Sarvita has been a part of the Coca-Cola system for 8 years and most recently, she was the Commercial Finance Director for the Coca-Cola Central & Southern Europe (CSE) Business based in Athens. During this 3 year stint, Sarvita played an instrumental role in the recovery of the CSE business.

 

Prior to her CSE role, Sarvita was the Commercial Finance Director - Great Britain & Ireland, based in London. Before joining The Coca-Cola Company, Sarvita has worked in Retail, Quick Service Restaurants and Marketing organizations, in Strategy, Marketing, Trading &Finance roles. Sarvita is a Chartered Accountant and also holds BSc. (Joint Honors) in Economics & Accountancy from City University, UK.
