Paige Cotcamp, the President and CEO of Air & Surface Logistics, was recently named vice-chair of UC Irvine’s Dean's Leadership Circle at the Paul Merage School of Business. The appointment is effective as of July 1, 2014. Mr. Cotcamp has previously served as the Program Development Chair for the past two years.
The Dean's Leadership Circle (DLC), part of UC Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business, is located on the web at http://merage.uci.edu/Content/About-Us/391 . The philanthropic organization has raised more than $4 million to fund high-priority initiatives for the school over the past few years.
The DLC recently announced the appointment of Paige Cotcamp, President and CEO of Air & Surface Logistics, located on the web at www.airandsurface.com , as the new vice-chair of the organization. Mr. Cotcamp had served as the Chair of the Program Development Committee for two years prior to the new appointment.
He begins his two-year term of service on July 1, 2014. The Dean's Leadership Circle has raised significant funds over the years since its inception in 2005 to benefit the Paul Merage School of Business. The group is currently involved in fundraising in support of the construction of a new building to house the rapidly growing business school.
The new, environmentally-friendly building is due to open in late September, 2014. It will offer both faculty and students the opportunity to learn and grow in a state-of-the-art facility, as well as serving a hub for connecting the top-ranked school with the Southern California business community.
Mr. Cotcamp has devoted significant time and resources to helping the DLC with its fundraising efforts. He now begins his term as vice-chair with hopes of further expanding the organization’s membership and building new and stronger ties to the Orange County, San Diego and Los Angeles businesses.
