Carbon Hill Inc - The prolific “Carbon Hill Inc” continues to increase green awareness with practical projects.

“Carbon Hill Inc” has announced its participation in a new project that has enabled 2 ceramics production companies in Brazil to reduce its carbon footprint by switching to fuels that inflict significantly less damage on the environment.

“Carbon Hill Inc” said that its latest project centers upon three small ceramics businesses situated close to the Macapa International Airport in the Anapa region of Brazil.

The firms produce structural ceramic products which are sold in the regional market. Anapa is a region that requires environmental conservation and ecological reserves owing to the Atlantic rainforest and mangroves in the region.

The ceramics companies had traditionally relied upon heavy oils as fuels for the kilns to produce their products and this endangered the delicate ecosystems of the region.

“Carbon Hill Inc”, understanding the impact that these practices stood to have on the environment, encouraged the ceramics firms to pursue a cleaner, more sustainable form of production and substituted the heavy oils used in production with renewable biomass to create thermal energy for heating the ceramic kilns.

The biomass is composed of sawdust and wood residues from several areas of reforestation. “Carbon Hill Inc” said that awareness is growing of the significantly reduced negative impact that renewable fuels have on the environment both in terms of local emissions and greenhouse gases.
