A person learn something new each day, or at least you should TRY! Nowadays I came across an article ending that there needs to be an established limit placed on the number of dogs that Calgary dog backpackers can take at one time. Some years back in Greater the municipality inserted a limit of 6 dogs per trip, and it seems a good limit. That Calgary seems to have no such restriction, a fact I was previously unaware of, is crazy. Of course there will always be Calgary Dog Walkers who take a lot of pups to the park and in doing so, add to the long list of inherent risks that accompany such a practice. There will be an increased risk of fighting, dogs roaming off, more poop on the ground, and all round a much less satisfying environment for all required.

From what I can identify Calgary does have a law available that states that dogs must be held under control at all times. This could be just fine if all dogs in Calgary were far better trained than in any other vacation spot I can think of. It seems like Calgary's politicians hold his or her dogs up to a better standard. Guess what? For those who have 12 dogs inside a park at once no matter how well trained they are. Some thing is bound to go wrong!

I think it's time for a wake call out west. C'mon Calgary, for the city that is so progressive when it comes to troubles of animal survival, you'd think this matter would have been attended to some time ago.
