Mumbai, July,2014: There’s a special surprise this Friday on BIG Magic’s comedy show Ajab Gajab Ghar Jamai which takes the route of an investigative comedy as Vidya Balan aka Bobby Jasoos spies on the very mischievous jamai — Chintu Chautala of Nani-saas — Himani Shivpuri. In keeping with her character in the film, Bobby Jasoos appears through the episode as she takes on the assignment and uncovers the true Chintu, revealing that there is a lot more than meets the eye. With heaps of comedy and drama pumped into the plot, this special is a must watch! Interestingly this is the first fiction show on a GEC where Vidya will be appearing on, after a long hiatus.

The integration made for a perfect fit, with Bobby Jasoos being able to reach out to an excellent audience base to 85mn households across India through BIG Magic, along with leveraging the Channel’s very strong performance in the Hindi heartland.
