It’s the holy season of Ramadan. The occasion is celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm everywhere. Life OK’s show Kalash —EkVishwaas’ leading actress Aparna Dixit who is seen essaying the role of DeevikaGarewal was seen celebrating the Iftyari on the sets with the camera man, spot boys, makeup artist and all the Production people.

Aparna Dixit respects and celebrates all festivals but when it comes to Ramadan, she looked delighted by the entire culture and the thought behind it.

As the beautiful actress said, “I was amused and delighted by how people fast for 30 days without eating whole day and come together in the evening to break their fast. The behind the screen people of our show work day in and out without a break even while fasting so I try to be a part of their celebration if possible.”

When asked about what amuses her the most about this festival, she said, “What amuses me is the idea behind fasting i.e for us to realise what poor people go through and suffer, the entire concept of self-control which makes a person stronger. It just makes me happy that I have seen Ramadan festival so closely and I get to be a part of it on the sets everyday where people share their food, celebrate the breaking of the fast and create new memories.”

She makes it a point to be a part of Iftaari celebration on the sets and plans to cook something special for the crew soon to thank them for their efforts despite their fasts.
