An inspiring Kickstarter campaign has been launched to revive the forgotten memoirs of the Sleighton Farm School of Pennsylvania. Sleighton Farm School was an amazing place that was used for the reforming of hundreds of young boys and girls into joyful productive people. The school had 120 acres of land and it has now turned into a ruin.

The creators of this crowdfunding campaign aim at funding a book that will include in-depth interviews with the Sleighton Farm School’s teachers, staff, students and graffiti painters. This will be a second book in the series as the first book covered twenty-seven photographs documenting the interior, exterior and aerial subjects. In a nutshell, the first book covered the 190 years of the school’s history while the second book will document the story of its decay.

The Kickstarter Campaign is located on the web at: www.kickstarter.com/projects/sleightonfarmschool/help-document-sleighton-farm-school and supporters from all around the world can back this project by making pledges and donations that can range from $25 to $100 or more. Each pledge offers a great reward and more details are available on the campaign page of the project.

About This Project

This inspiring project is aimed at documenting the story that will cover the demise of the historic and nearly two century’s old Sleighton Farm School of Pennsylvania. The creators have already covered the history of this amazing school in a book that had photographs. Now, they are aiming at bringing the story of its downfall by covering interviews of teachers, staff and students. They are therefore welcoming everyone to generously back and support this campaign via Kickstarter.
