An Exciting Line-up Of January 2014 Festivities In Tuscany Awaits Visitors

For starters, Tuscany kicks off with a traditional event on the night of January 5th called ‘Piancastagnaio Befanate Befanotti’, during which groups of ‘befanotti’, dressed in ragged clothes with faces covered with soot, travel from village to village singing a begging song and requesting offerings.
