A Grand Salute to Our Indian Jawan — An Independence Day Exclusive, Only On IBN-Lokmat

An Indian soldier is the symbol of valour and prodigy. He is also named as Jawan and is indeed the backbone of the Indian army. These great Indian warriors are always ready to sacrifice their lives for the peace and security of the nation & its people. IBN-Lokmat with its viewers pays a grand tribute to the Jawans of Indian Army for their unparalleled contribution and dedication towards the country. The Indian soldier carry with themselves a great moral values, unmatched courage and ever shining heroism. He is accustomed to a life of hardship and discipline. To get a glimpse of their lives and to show our viewers the lives of our jawans, we travelled all the way from Srinagar to Drass then to kargil and Leh, being the last destination. This journey through Reportaaz brings an appropriate understanding of the life of a soldier in difficult terrain, the hardships they face every moment, various ways to overcome those hurdles and the pride thoughts about the nation they carry is all heartfelt. It was overwhelming to see the Army’swell-nourished relations in the vicinity of these hilly terrains and endeavours they initiate to make a happy & good life for these villagers.

Independence Day is time for us Indians to analyse the life of Indian Jawan and how much we are indebted to them for every second of our lives.
