92 7 BIG FM SALUTES WOMEN ACHIEVERS WITH LADIES FIRST THIS WOMENS DAY
Mumbai, March 4, 2014: As we approach International Woman’s Day this 8th March, 92.7 BIG FM India’s No.1 FM Network, gets successful men to talk about and interview women achievers from their field / profession. Tune-in to Ladies First, this week to hear noted lyricist Irshad Kamil interview his professional counterpart Anvita Dutt and boxer Vijender Singh interviewing Mary Kom! While other personalities like Jwala Gutta share their success stories, you can also nominate ‘women heroes’ from your neighborhood who will then be acknowledged on the radio station. Leading up to International Women’s Day, 92.7 BIG FM runs ‘Ladies First’ across its 45 stations. While the episodes feature famous people like Jwala Gutta, lyricist Irshad Kamil interviewing Anvita Dutt, and boxer Vijender Singh interviewing fellow sportswoman Mary Kom, each station identifies and highlights local women heroes through the week. In addition to featuring women from business / corporate, auto-drivers, pilots etc. each station will also encourage listeners to nominate and share success stories of incredible women from their neighborhood. From the total registrations received, RJs will select the best narrative and showcase them on air.
Additionally, 92.7 BIG FM also pays tribute to 100 glorious years of Indian Cinema by highlighting women in lead roles through film capsules. Some of the awe-inspiring films that will be featured include Mother India, Madhumati, Seeta aur Geeta, Mrityudand, Damini, Lajja, Rudali among others.
