Indore : 92.7 BIG FM Indore’s celebrations for the 74th birth anniversary of renowned music director R.D. Burman’s 74th reached its climax today with a unique karaoke competition called ‘Yaadon Mein Pancham’ organized at C21 Mall. The anniversary celebrations kicked off on Pancham Da’s birthday i.e. 27th June 2013 and witnessed a volley of songs that were composed by him. During the course of the interactive karaoke contest, 92.7 BIG FM Indore crowned winners from amongst participating audiences every half hour as they crooned to some of the most popular songs that were composed by the music maestro.
Be it electronic rock, a mix of disco and rock or even Bengali folk music, R.D. Burman composed all this songs with an added jazz element which added to the charm of his music. Owing to this twist, his songs remain evergreen and continue to entertain listeners even today! During the course of the ‘Yaadon Mein Pancham’ celebrations, 92.7 BIG FM Indore shared interesting bits of trivia about the renowned music composer while engaging listeners through his superhit songs. The Karaoke competition witnessed an incredible turnout as audiences tried to showcase their singing abilities while aiming to achieve perfection.
Through the ‘Yaadon Mein Pancham’ singing contest, 92.7 BIG FM Indore aims to become synonymous with hit music while providing the best music options to listeners in the city.
