92.7 BIG FM announced ‘DABUR HONITUS BIG JUNIOR RJ’
Children between 6 to 14 years of age were auditioned for a month to become 92.7 BIG FM RJs on Christmas Day!
INDORE, December 26, 2013: India’s largest radio network 92.7 BIG FM and Dabur Honitus, the leading natural cough & cold brand from the house of Dabur, announced Ku. Ruquiya Spiritwala the winner of a mega hunt to identify the most talented child radio-jockey. This massive talent initiative, christened ‘Dabur Honitus BIG Junior RJ’, was conducted across the country and helped identifying RJ-ing talent in children between 6 and 14 years of age. A number of children were auditioned for the role and the winner was given an exclusive chance to host the shows on 25th December 2013 (Christmas Day).
This month-long campaign, which concluded on Christmas Day, auditioned children from several schools per city. The kids were judged on parameters such as spontaneity, delivery and diction, smartness, general knowledge and RJing ability. 92.7 BIG FM and Dabur Honitus selected Ku Ruquiya Spiritwala who got a chance to host shows with 92.7 BIG FM RJs.
Bringing the excitement of reality shows to radio, this initiative gave parents the advantage of being actively involved in grooming their young ones to stand out in the contest. The program gave children a fantastic new opportunity to display such skills that were often overlooked and prized in radio jockeys.
