8 copies of one costume on the sets of SiyaKe Ram
STAR Plus’ popular mythological saga has been under the weather scanner ever since monsoons hit Hyderabad’s RamojiFilmcity where the show is majorly based.
The on-going track on the show is currently heading towards the iconic war between Ram and Raavan for which the entire cast and crew has been prepping day in and day out. The sequences leading up to the war are needed to be shot at an open ground location and not indoors. But given the unpredictable weather conditions due to the monsoons the actors often end up getting drenched whenever it pours. So in order to ensure that they do not lose out on precious shooting time, the makers have found a rather peculiar way to tackle the rains.
Talking about the same Madirakshi aka Sita confirmed, “Production has actually got 8 replicas of our original costumes made. This means we have 8 copies of one costume for every actor. There have been times when we get drenched and the humidity doesn’t let the clothes dry in time, so to avoid any discrepancy in the shoot, we have substitute costumes that work wells for us.”
The makers definitely have found a quirky way out to deal with the unpredictable rains.
