I didn’t really know what to expect. Immediately, talking to the client, the guitar started resonating. I looked down at her, strummed lightly, stunning. Very active, well set up, she’s got juice. The back end of the guitar, the lower bout is a bit thick for the client, the only reason he’s letting her go. We found him something that works in every way for him, leaving us with this beauty. Teryks builds a superb guitar. Her condition is very good to excellent, nothing structural, just your typical and honest playing wear from a guy that practices 6-12 hours a day. Given all that, she’s in amazing condition. I’ll photograph anything that needs particular inspection, but truly, nothing is popping out at me. Great guitar. The carvings on the guitar are a special touch. The butt, the heel, the back of the headstock, etc. Very nice. Playing her again this morning, I have to say, “spectacular”. The man is a true artisan. __________________ Media Listening with high quality headphones or audio equipment is highly recommended including EQ manipulation, if possible. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as is possible. I speak in the recordings, my thoughts about the guitar (and possibly other things?). My speaking also serves to give you my first impressions and to also give you a balance of the engineering (or lack thereof) versus the sound of the guitar. I simply do not have time to engineer much of anything. Thanks. Really, a superior classical experience within this guitar. Love her appearance, her play, her sound. This is a fun guitar to play with every nuance available to you, coloration and expression, with power or at a low voice.
