In 1999 he enrolled at the Civic School of Violin Making in Milan where, over the years, he managed to learn the most refined techniques concerning the construction of plucked instruments.  At the same time as the courses last, it begins to put into practice the lessons received; immediately began to build classical guitars according to the ancient Spanish tradition. In 2004 he finished his studies at the Civic School of Violin Making in Milan specializing in the construction of musical instruments with a penchant for ancient music. Subsequently, he began a post-diploma internship in Bologna at the violin maker Anna Radice, where he deepened the constructive themes of the baroque instruments of the Baroque period. Thanks to the collaboration with various professionals in the music field, he has deepened in recent years the techniques of construction and repair of plucked musical instruments ranging from the nineteenth century to the present day. ___________ Media Listening with high quality headphones or audio equipment is highly recommended including EQ manipulation, if possible. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as is possible. I speak in the recordings, my thoughts about the guitar (and possibly other things?).  My speaking also serves to give you my first impressions and to also give you a balance of the engineering (or lack thereof) versus the sound of the guitar.  I simply do not have time to engineer much of anything.  Thanks. Rich MP3 Audio – 191231-2018 Toni De Stefano TDS Spruce Mahogany working on 2 new sketches, I figured I’d try them a bit on this guitar, along with some other stuff, noodling around.  The guitar has gotten better!  She plays like melted butter.  My typical discussion and pieces that highlight the power and voice of the ranges.  I’ve lowered the price to a ridiculous number, to move her into a good home. A video is in production for this video…see MP3 of the video session below. https://www.savageclassical.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/180702-2018-Toni-De-Stefano-TDS-Spruce-Mahogany.mp3 My Solo Book of sheet music is available here if you’re interested. https://www.savageclassical.com/product/richard-f-sayage-solo-guitar-works-volume-1/ ___________ Video We have a video below with Keiran Franzone of Fredonia University.  Here he’s playing Villa Lobos – Prelude #2 with Toni’s guitar. ___________ Shipping: Premium HSC is included in your purchase price.
