Pretty, full bodied voice, easy to play. Excellent work by the master luthier from Colorado. Wilson’s work was intriguing and accessible price-wise to me. Looking forward to seeing her, I was pleasantly surprised at how easily she plays, her warmth, clarity and projection. The guitar is strung with PEPESR Vintage 1960’s strings. He’s a character too. Look at his photo, you can see it in his eyes! LOL Good guy. Wilson Burnham in his workshop This guitar is new, finished in late 2017. The guitar is named “Pastora” for a famous Spanish Cantora. Best and feel free to give me a ring to discuss at 631-335-5447, ask for Rich About Wilson Burnham – “I hand craft classical guitars in a small studio outside of Allen’s Park, Colorado. I use only hand tools and high quality woods to make my guitars. This allows me to make a guitar that has a true singing voice, one that is loud and has a large range of tonal colors and nuances. As a classical guitar player myself, I know the joy of playing a truly wonderful guitar – one that sings, is responsive to your playing style, is easy to play with a voice that reaches the last row of seats in a recital or concert hall, and most of all, a guitar that you fall in love with so much you never want to stop playing it. That is the kind of guitar that I make.” – Wilson Burnham _______ Media Listening with high quality headphones or audio equipment is highly recommended including EQ manipulation, if possible. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as is possible. I speak in the recordings, my thoughts about the guitar (and possibly other things?). My speaking also serves to give you my first impressions and to also give you a balance of the engineering (or lack thereof) versus the sound of the guitar. I simply do not have time to engineer much of anything. Thanks. Rich MP3 Audio – 180519-burnham-pastora This is my second guitar from Wilson, named “Pastora”, again looking forward to it, as Redwood is one of my favorite tops. I love warmth, what can I say. This guitar has that and more all the way. One of my favorites was from Darren Hippner, back in the day, number 305 I think. This guitar is very mindful of that, with easy play and an oozing warmth that makes her a lot of fun to play. The better thing about this guitar is the clarity and precision of voices. Wilson builds a very nice guitar. I’m very happy representing him and his guitars here on the East Coast. https://www.savageclassical.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/180519-burnham-pastora.mp3 My Solo Book of sheet music is available here if you’re interested. https://www.savageclassical.com/product/richard-f-sayage-solo-guitar-works-volume-1/ _______ Shipping Premium HSC is included in your purchase price.
