The guitar has almost no evidence of playing wear, maybe a tiny tick on the back, and one small mark by the side where the heel meets the neck. The guitar emphasizes a large bass response, but not over-powering the mids or the trebles. There’s a good amount of sing in this guitar, powerful and bold throughout her range. Setup is quite good, tweaked by me, cleaned, polished, frets dressed and shined up, where the guitar plays fast and furious. Obviously, all first class material used by the Spanish master. She plays easily with a marginally high setup, where the guitar makes no noise, no breaking of the voices, etc. I measured her at 4.5mm low E 12th fret and 3.3mm at high E, unfretted. The canted neck from bass side to treble side allows for a straight neck with no relief, thus the slightly higher numbers. This is similar to the Hauser method of canting the neck for relief. ____________ Media Listening with high quality headphones or audio equipment is highly recommended including EQ manipulation, if possible. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as is possible. I speak in the recordings, my thoughts about the guitar (and possibly other things?). My speaking also serves to give you my first impressions and to also give you a balance of the engineering (or lack thereof) versus the sound of the guitar.
