Powerful, sweet, easily played, his guitars are highly prized. She is gorgeous. The top is a superb example of European Spruce, the back and sides with exceptional Brazilian Rosewood, straight grained, beautiful coloring. Note that the guitar is a Traditional 7 Fan Braced guitar, with an elevated Fretboard, facilitating ease of access to the upper register. She sounds amazing. The guitar plays fast and easy with sublime voicing, excellent separation, clear lines in her singing. She also wants to be driven, seriously releasing some bold yet warm power. Clarity is exceptional, almost surprisingly so, until you remember that Richard built it. He likes sweet power, with exceptional clarity, even with his cedar guitar. _______ Media Listening with high quality headphones or audio equipment is highly recommended including EQ manipulation, if possible. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as is possible. I speak in the recordings, my thoughts about the guitar (and possibly other things?).
