It is an amazingly warm, clear and vibrant instrument, and she’s still a baby. Traditionally built, the guitar is NOT a double top. She is 9 fans, in broad general terms, with a lateral harmonic bar, stiffeners on the sides, and smaller harmonic bars within the bass side and treble side bars. The woods were acquired from an old supplier to Gernot Wagner. Mark built this traditional guitar especially for my gallery, where, as usual, I told him to build what inspires him, not any spec of mine. This is his top build, using the finest and aged materials, with his special touch of diligence and patience to create a true work of art. A truly excellent guitar by the young master, we are very proud to represent this fine luthier from Waterloo, Canada. Mark brought the guitar to me personally, on Friday, April 26th, 2019.
