Further clarification from Wilson on this guitar: “The guitar was started in 2017 (thus the label), but is completed as of 2019, in early January.  The guitar is based upon R.E. Brune’s plans of Segovia’s 1912 Manuel Ramirez guitar – same plantilla, head stock crest, binding style, etc., except the top bracing, which is based upon one used by Alfonso Benito, who worked for M. Ramirez. ” The woods in this guitar are: Port Orford cedar top East Indian rosewood back and sides Spanish cedar neck Indonesian ebony fretboard EIR bridge, bindings, headstock plate Spanish cedar back bracing Engelmann spruce top bracing EIR top kerfings Spanish cedar back kerfings Manuel Ramirez style rosette MOP tie block cover Bone nut and saddle Sloane tuning machines Savarez Corum high tension strings Standard nickel silver frets Hiscox case The guitar was well received at the OC Guitar Festival at Chapman University last month.  One of the judges could not believe the value and the price, as well as excellent reviews from local Denver University professors.  She has voice and is quite powerful.  I’m looking forward to recording with the guitar today! He’s a character too.  Look at his photo, you can see it in his eyes!  LOL  Good guy. Wilson Burnham in his workshop This guitar is new, finished in early 2019.  The guitar is named “Mariana” in honor of one of Wilson’s cousins. Best and feel free to give me a ring to discuss at 631-335-5447, ask for Rich About Wilson Burnham – “I hand craft classical guitars in a small studio outside of Allen’s Park, Colorado. I use only hand tools and high quality woods to make my guitars. This allows me to make a guitar that has a true singing voice, one that is loud and has a large range of tonal colors and nuances. As a classical guitar player myself, I know the joy of playing a truly wonderful guitar – one that sings, is responsive to your playing style, is easy to play with a voice that reaches the last row of seats in a recital or concert hall, and most of all, a guitar that you fall in love with so much you never want to stop playing it. That is the kind of guitar that I make.” – Wilson Burnham _______ Media Listening with high quality headphones or audio equipment is highly recommended including EQ manipulation, if possible. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as is possible. I speak in the recordings, my thoughts about the guitar (and possibly other things?).  My speaking also serves to give you my first impressions and to also give you a balance of the engineering (or lack thereof) versus the sound of the guitar.  I simply do not have time to engineer much of anything.  Thanks.
