Ken used it for his own performance needs over the years, allowing the guitar to fill out her voice and mature. She is considered pre-owned and priced accordingly after a refinishing and cleanup by Ken himself. Pretty, full bodied voice, easy to play. Intimate voice perfect for a small room recital. Excellent work by the young master luthier. Ken’s work has always been intriguing and accessible price-wise and this one is no different. Beautiful figured East Indian RW, nice coloring, deep and rich to the excellent cut of Western Red Cedar. Then of course, the guitar is fretted with Gold Evo FWG110 fret-wire and finished with blonde shellac, the guitar is quite nice. He’s apparently inspired and the guitar reflects it. Ken works out of his workshop in Parkland, Missouri.
