The song TuMera Hero would be apt for GautamRode aka Saras from Star Plus’ Saraswatichandra. The actor has become popular owing to his appeal and his character garnering phenomenal fan following some that have even led to proposals.
Recently when he shot an important sequence for the show in London, a teenager fan waited for hours during the shoot only to get a glimpse of her ‘Hero’. But as she watched him, tears rolled down her cheeks out of happiness and excitement. Gautam who is so genuine walked up to the girl hugged her which made her day for sure.
This is not the first time Gautam has come across such fan following and admiration. Fans of Saraswatichandra from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Africa flood Gautam's email, twitter Handle etc. with love messages, they also send him surprise gifts every month. Gautam was amazed when African lady told him, “You are Saras, from Saraswatichandra right? I like the show and I think you are doing a fantastic job.”
