When Sugandha made Bappi da cry
The always cheerful Bappi Lahiri turned teary eyed on the sets of Sony Entertainment Television’s popular music reality show. The music composer and singer showed a different side to his personality on the sets of Indian Idol Junior.
Bappi da made an appearance on the sets of Indian Idol Junior for an evening dedicated to him. The singing junior idols along with the judges were very excited to be in the company of the legendary music composer. After some electrifying performances Sugandha took stage. Her song ‘Aao tumhe chand pe le jau’ moved Bappi da so much that he could not hold his tears. Vishal and Shekhar too for the first time became emotional on the show and became teary eyed. So mesmerized was Bappi da that he promised to gift a gold chain to Sugandha. He said, “I am so moved by your performance that I cannot express it in words. As a token of appreciation I will send you a gold chain during the next episode”. Sugandha’s happiness knew no bounds and she was seen smiling ear to ear.
