Western Union makes Eid celebration more special with 10-fold chance to increase remittance pay out

MUMBAI, July 29, 2013, Thirty international remittance receivers across ten states in India have the opportunity to increase their principal amount received ten-fold thanks to Western Union’s ‘10 Guna Zyada’ promotion launched to recognize and celebrate Ramadan.

The Western Union company (NYSE:WU), a leader in global payment services launched the ‘10 Guna Zyada’ to reward international money transfer recipients; as they receive additional funds to support the holy season of fasting and breaking of fasting. 

 

The promotion conducted via a raffle of money transfer transactions received within the states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala and Karnataka - continues until August 6th, 2013.

 

Over 5,000 consumers stand a chance to win ‘Eidi’ ranging from INR 501 upto INR 5,001, while 30 lucky winners have the opportunity to win a grand prize of up to INR 1,20,000.

 

Nine winners have already won a collective pool of INR 14,94,000  from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
