Welspun pledges INR One crore for Uttarakhand Relief Efforts to PMs Relief Fund

Mumbai, June 28^th, 2013: Welspun Energy Ltd. (WEL), India’s foremost renewable energygenerator, declared that Welspun Group will contribute towards the relief work in Uttarakhand. Welspun Energy together with Welspun Corp Ltd., Welspun India Ltd. and Welspun Syntax have collectively donated INR 1 crore to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.

In line with its commitment to fulfilling its social responsibility, Welspun Group has come forward to do their bit to aid in the rescue of stranded pilgrims and locals who have lost everything to the calamity. Mr. Vineet Mittal, Co-Founder & Managing Director Welspun Energy has personally handed over the contribution amount on behalf of Welspun Group to the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Manmohan Singh’s Relief Fund.
