Washington DC, (March 5, 2015) - It is no secret that Washington D.C is brimming with musical talent, but this belief will be further cemented Washington based Indie Record Label, Astrol Music releases three exciting mixtapes later this month.
The mixtapes will be released on the authority in free mixtapes www.datpiff.com/ and the number one online DJ community www.djservicepack.com. Music fans will be able to satisfy their musical palette from the three mixtapes designed to appeal to even the most jaded musical palette.
Astrol music is headed by a talented production team, Dj Mic Jack and Kawani Ali who call themselves the Astrols. The Indie company is widely known for producing urban music but are spreading their wings into different genres with their latest mixtapes.
One of the mix tapes was compiled by DJ Mic Jac and is entitled 'Get High on Musik'. This mixtape consists of 8 songs and features up and coming musical sensation Alien Nature. The second mixtape dubbed 'Urban Experiment' was done by Maeson- lead singer of Alien Nature. Maeson's mixtape features 6 tracks aimed specifically at lovers of urban hip-hop. The third mixtape is a work of pure genius by the Astrols and is a compilation of 12 songs including house parties and remixes from 2 Chainz, K Camp, TeeFLii and Cap 1 along with other local up and coming D.C indie artists.
The production team at Astrol music are all excited about the launch of the mixtapes. Mike Simpson said: "I think we are going to demonstrate to the music world that we can do more than just urban music. We especially feel confident about the new group Alien Nature who has a very promising career ahead of them. I feel that they have a hit on their hands with 'Grind On Me' and 'Come Alive'
Astrol Music will also be promoting their efforts at this year's SXSW film and music festival which will be held in Austin, Texas from March 16-21. The production house will be showcasing their repertoire of unique mixtapes to the massive crowd that is expected at the festival. The company is expecting to generate a strong following for their mixtape compilations from the hottest talent in Washington DC and beyond.
